KARBONtek - Sustainable Industrial Degreasers

KARBONtek - Industrial Degreaser
MFStek KARBONtek is a versatile water based technology that quickly and effectively removes grease, oily residue, carbon, ink, petroleum and soot from washable surfaces. The product contains no phosphates, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), fragrances, artificial colouring, 2-butoyethanol and all organic ingredients are biodegradable in accordance with OECD 301. This ready-to-dilute concentrate can be mixed at rates from 1:10 to 1:99 in order to effectively clean:
- Industrial vehicles (i.e. heavy haulers, chemical transport vehicles) | Dilution Rate = 1 : 10.
- Municipal buses | Dilution Rate = 1 : 24
- Industrial railcars | Dilution Rate = 1 : 24
- Metallic infrastructure and oil/gas pipelines | Dilution Rate = 1 : 10
- Oil spill remediation equipment and clothing | Dilution Rate = 1 : 40
- Stainless Steel Tankers | Dilution Rate = 1 : 99

KARBONtek - Phase Splitting Degreaser
MFStek offers a unique Phase Splitting Degreaser that is based on the formulation mentioned above, offering powerful degreasing for industrial environments. Once water and soiling (oil, petroleum residue) hit the ground, the oil content and the water will split into phase, allowing for easier, more cost efficient and sustainable cleaning.

Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD): "In environmental chemistry, the chemical oxygen demand (COD) test is commonly used to indirectly measure the amount of organic compounds in water. Most applications of COD determine the amount of organic pollutants found in surface water (i.e. lakes and rivers) or wastewater, making COD a useful measure of water quality. It is expressed in milligrams per litre (mg/L) also referred to as ppm (parts per million), which indicates the mass of oxygen consumed per litre of solution." - Wikipedia
Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD): "Is the amount of dissolved oxygen needed by aerobic biological organisms in a body of water to break down organic material present in a given water sample at certain temperature over a specific time period. The term also refers to a chemical procedure for determining this amount. This is not a precise quantitative test, although it is widely used as an indication of the organic quality of water. The BOD value is commonly expressed in milligrams of oxygen consumed per litre of sample during 5 days of incubation at 20°C and is often used as a robust surrogate of the degree of organic pollution in water. BOD can be used as a gauge of effectiveness of wastewater treatment plants. It is listed as a conventional pollutant in the U.S. Clean Water Act. BOD is a similar function to Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), in that both measure the amount of organic compounds in water. KARBONtek - Petroleum Dissolving Degreaser
This unique and biodegradable technology is specifically designed to adhere and lock-on to horizontal and vertical surfaces while penetrating deep into soiling and contaminated surface structure.
